“We love growing oats! CS Camden has been the go-to for a while, a good yielder with less straw to keep the rotor losses down and the bushels per hour up in the combine! CDC Arborg has had a good fit where we are trying to capture that top end yield, but usually have to slow down at harvest as it is a taller variety. CDC Anson looks like one to really watch, it stands better with really high top end yield. While both CS Camden and CDC Arborg are accepted at the mills, CDC Anson is still in its trial runs and is looking promising.
