Our forage varieties are great on their own or if you’re looking for a forage mix, we can do that too. Adding peas to oats and or barley adds protein and palatability to your feed. Really any of the pea varieties we have will accomplish this but the CDC Julius have a small seed size for a lower seeding rate and better seeding experience when mixed with oats and or barley. We can inoculate (14 day survival window) the peas right at pickup. Stockford is a great barley option for yellow feed or swath grazing as it doesn’t have any beards. Mixing forage oats and forage barley has been really nice feed for our own cows as we rotate swath grazing and grazing corn year to year.
